How FaithLog presents the text

Verse text is shown as its translators published it, from the source named for each translation.

To fit FaithLog's reader, section headings and footnote markers are left out of the verse text and spacing is tidied. Verses keep each translation's own numbering.

A reference saved in one translation opens on the same words in another, even where two translations number a passage differently.

Listening

When FaithLog reads Scripture aloud, it reads the verse text word for word, in the translation the listener chose. Nothing is paraphrased, summarised or added.

Cedar and Haven are computer-generated voices made with ElevenLabs. Each verse is generated once per voice, stored privately, and replayed to listeners so a reading starts quickly. Recordings are not offered for download.

The credit for each translation applies to what is heard as much as to what is read.

Study notes and cross-references

FaithLog's study answers draw on these sources in short excerpts, write afresh rather than quote, and name the sources they used.
